Scope & Topics
Humanoid robots are created to imitate some of the same physical and mental tasks that humans undergo daily. Scientists and specialists from many different fields including engineering, cognitive science, and linguistics combine their efforts to create a robot as human-like as possible. Their creators' goal for the robot is that one day it will be able to both understand human intelligence, reason and act like humans. If humanoids are able to do so, they could eventually work alongside humans. Another important benefit of developing androids is to understand the human body's biological and mental processes, from the seemingly simple act of walking to the concepts of consciousness and spirituality. The "Journal of Humanoid Robots" fosters the dissemination of new discoveries and novel technologies which are related to all fields of humanoid robots. The journal will publish new discoveries and improvements, innovative ideas and concepts, as well as novel applications which are related to the field of humanoid robots and are proven to be of high quality.

Publication Procedure
1. Instructions for Authors
To ensure rapid refereeing and publication, submit the Manuscript in MS Word and PDF formatted according to the Instructions for Authors.
Downlad Instructions for Authors in MS Word or PDF format.
2. Submitt the Paper
Submissions must represent original work, whose copyright is not already owned elsewhere. Originality, creativity and cross-disciplinary approach or perspectives are strongly encouraged. Publication of conference papers which have been substantially rewritten and augmented Submissions must represent original work, whose copyright is not already owned elsewhere. Originality, creativity and cross-disciplinary approach or perspectives are strongly encouraged. Publication of conference papers which have been substantially rewritten and augmented to be suitable for journal publication are allowed. However it is the authors' responsibility to check for possible copyright conflict with the copyright holder.
Significant duplication of the conference paper and parallel submissions are not allowed. In such case INRA can withdraw the publishing right to author and all co-authors of the paper for a substantially long time.
The review process is done entirely electronically, so it is essential for you to provide an electronic file of your paper. Submission have to be done electronically. Use the Submission Form below.
